Requirements:
  • At least Certificate in Caregiving a must  CNA preferred
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or related role is preferred but not essential; we welcome individuals with a compassionate nature and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with compassion and understanding.
  • Ability to follow instructions and care plans while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Physical stamina and the capability to assist with lifting and mobility support.

Responsibilities

  1. Personal Care: Assisting clients with grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting needs as required.
  2. Medication Management: Administering medications based on prescribed schedules and ensuring compliance.
  3. Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences.
  4. Mobility Assistance: Providing support with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids.
  5. Emotional Support: Offering companionship and emotional reassurance to clients.
  6. Light Housekeeping: Performing light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and organized living environment.
  7. Monitoring Health: Observing and reporting any changes in the client's health or behavior to the appropriate medical professionals.
  8. Social Activities: Engaging clients in meaningful activities to stimulate their mental and emotional well-being.
  9. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of care provided, medication administration, and any relevant observations.
